PAL-V has appointed Nobleo Manufacturing as its strategic industrialisation partner for the world’s first FlyDrive production facility. Following the achievement of both automotive and aviation production approvals, PAL-V is advancing towards large-scale manufacturing by further refining, optimising and digitalising its production operations.
The partnership marks a significant step in PAL-V’s transition from development and certification to full production readiness and future expansion. Together, PAL-V and Nobleo Manufacturing will develop the manufacturing processes, digital infrastructure and industrialisation strategy needed to support the long-term growth and scaling of FlyDrive production.
Building production readiness
As the first company in the FlyDrive sector to secure both automotive and aviation production approvals, PAL-V is laying the foundations for its next stage of growth. Beyond certification, this phase demands scalable production processes, a resilient supply chain, advanced manufacturing capabilities and a clear framework for continuous operational improvement. Nobleo Manufacturing will support PAL-V in translating its vehicle development roadmap into a comprehensive industrialisation strategy, spanning prototype and pre-production activities, production ramp-up and long-term volume manufacturing.
Peter Thissen, Advisor and Principal Consultant at Nobleo Manufacturing commented: "PAL V has achieved something unique by creating an entirely new mobility category and successfully navigating the complex certification requirements that come with it. The company is now entering the next phase of its growth, focused on further industrialising and optimising its production organisation. We are proud to contribute our expertise in manufacturing, digitalisation and industrial engineering to support that ambition."
Robert Dingemanse, CEO at PAL-V stated: "Together with Nobleo Manufacturing, we’re now setting the next steps to prepare for scaling and optimising the production organisation. The achievement of our Production Organisation Approval marked the transition from certification towards production readiness. Together with Nobleo Manufacturing, we’re now setting the next steps to prepare for scaling and optimising the production organisation. Nobleo's expertise in industrialisation and digital manufacturing complements our own capabilities and will help further strengthen the operational foundations for future growth."
From certification to industrial-scale manufacturing
For PAL-V, the partnership represents a natural next step in building on recent certification achievements, including its Production Organisation Approval (POA), which authorises the company to manufacture aviation products in accordance with EASA regulations. With these key milestones in place, PAL-V is now focused on transforming its certified production capabilities into a scalable manufacturing organisation equipped to support future growth and increasing market demand.
Enabling the next generation of professional mobility
With automotive and aviation production approvals secured, nearly two decades of development expertise and a reservation portfolio supporting the initial years of manufacturing, PAL-V has entered a new stage of its evolution. The partnership with Nobleo Manufacturing is designed to accelerate the industrialisation and scaling of PAL-V’s production capabilities. Leveraging deep expertise in both automotive manufacturing and aerospace-grade production environments, Nobleo Manufacturing will help transform PAL-V’s highly regulated and technically advanced platform into a scalable, efficient manufacturing operation.
PAL-V’s FlyDrive solutions are built for organisations that rely on rapid access to people, expertise and critical resources. By combining the speed and range of aviation with the flexibility and convenience of road transport, FlyDrive enables professionals operating in remote, rural and hard-to-reach locations to respond more quickly and perform their missions more effectively.
Together, PAL-V and Nobleo Manufacturing are establishing the industrial foundation for the production of the world’s first certified FlyDrive vehicles, paving the way for a new category of mobility tailored to the needs of professional operators.
